In this session with Dan Kearns, CTO and Nikunj Mehta, Founder & CEO, we talk about predicting the future, specifically predicting important “events” like remaining useful life (RUL), time to failure (TTF),  time to reactor criticality, the time to product release in a chemical reaction and so on. We call this the Event Horizon Estimation (EHE).

Knowing this time to occurrence is critical for every member of the operations teams, plant manager and operation heads. Predicting such critical events is very difficult except in highly engineered systems like the Mars rover. 

Falkonry’s approach of using time series analysis makes these estimates available to users with a single method to solve multiple problems rather than requiring them to experiment with different mathematical models and error estimation mechanisms.
