Falkonry PI Agent
Falkonry integrates with PI Asset Framework and installs natively in your Windows Server. Using the PI Agent, users can direct points being added to assets to flow to Falkonry. The Agent automatically sets up a Datastream from this flow and the assessments produced by analyzing patterns in time series data are automatically sent back to PI System.
Falkonry PI Agent can be used to manage datastreams and assessments. It can also be used to create new attributes on the corresponding Asset Template in PI Asset Framework. This new attribute can be used to set up notifications and feed data to PI DataLink or PI CoreSight.
Falkonry Splunk App
Falkonry Splunk App can be downloaded into your Splunk installation using the app management interface.The Splunk App (accessed within the Splunk application environment) will configure flow from Splunk to a Falkonry Datastream, and flow of condition assessment results back into Splunk.
Any search query can be used as the source of a Falkonry Datastream, which means that you can use the full power of the Splunk query language to identify data to use with Falkonry. Likewise, any pipeline can direct its output to a Splunk index through its HTTP event collector, enabling users to search and report on Falkonry results in Splunk.
Falkonry Hadoop Integration
Falkonry internally uses a buffer to stage datastreams for learning its pattern catalog. However, if customers have a Hive metastore for their time series data stored in HDFS or elsewhere, then Falkonry can directly work with datastreams without replicating data from the data lake.
Falkonry develops a pattern catalog by running its model learning activities natively in the YARN-based data lake. Falkonry uses HDFS or other suitable Hive meta-store based archival of its results. Subsequently, live data processing can be performed directly in Falkonry without the need to manage long term storage.
